Auto Air-Con Exchange (Pty) Ltd, established in 1994, are a specialist re-manufacturer of automotive aircon compressors, and supply a comprehensive range of allied components, spares and accessories to around 500 fitment centre's, distributors, dealerships, service centre's, panelshops, auto electrician, repair shop etc., for all makes of vehicles in South Africa and neighbouring countries.

MANUFACTURING

In our fully equipped factory, situated in Edenvale, near Johannesburg, a full production line with the most up to date testing and checking procedures are implemented. We have a complete in-house built automotive aircon system to simulate a real system and ensure all our remanufactured compressors are tested in an exact environment that they will be used in.

The remanufacturing process involves exchanged compressors being stripped down, cleaned and rebuilt with re-useable and new parts, making the compressors as good as original. These re-manufactured compressors are then supplied to dealerships, service centre's, fitment centre's, panelbeaters and the trade as an alternative to brand new compressors. Compressors are re-manufactured to O.E.M. specifications and carry a 12 month warranty. (Conditions apply).

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

We have a fully equipped research and development workshop that is used to identify certain problems that are vehicle specific. This is especially useful as there are so many new vehicles being imported fully built and their dealer network does not always have the necessary spares and or technical backup that is required.

Due to the technical difficulty in repairing a failed aircon system and to prevent further or future failure and warranty claims, we have designed a flushing machine with special fittings to fit most vehicles to ensure aircon repairs are carried out professionally by our customers in the industry.

APPROVALS 

AutoAirCon Exchange is an O.E.M. approved supplier of re-manufactured and new automotive air-con compressors to the automotive aftermarket industry, as well as a FORD OE Aircon Kit Supplier. We are also  FORD / MAZDA Warranty Administrators.

We are approved suppliers to FORD MOTOR COMPANY OF SOUTHERN AFRICA. This approval has allowed us to approach the insurance industry and the panelbeating industry with a proposal that will reduce the cost of claims and the occurrence of secondary claims.

We are approved by all the extended vehicle warranty companies as a supplier and workshop, as well as being a member of RMI. (Retail Motor Industry).

We also supply a comprehensive range of alternative automotive aircon parts such as...    Aircon fans, Condensers, Radiators, Radiator fans, Receiver Dryers, Expansion Valves, Orifice Tubes, Accumulators etc...

Also supplied are, fully automatic (RRR) refrigerant gas recovery, recycle, vacuum and recharging machines, all automotive air-con related tools, consumables, equipment and tooling to automotive air-con repair centre's and the industry.

MARKETING

We are always interested in adding new products or technology to our range and we ensure these are marketed professionally with an emphasis on service and after sales back up.

The sales team and service technicians are professionally trained in all aspects of the automotive air-con industry, and are ready to assist nationally.

AutoAirCon Exchange is currently a dominant force in our field and are exploring exciting opportunities to expand in our industry with a view to becoming a far more dominant force in areas we currently do not serve within the automotive aircon or HVAC industry.
